Description: Over the past several years higher education has trended toward a more extensive use of e-content, especially in the delivery of learning materials. This session highlights the challenges and opportunities institutions continue to face in their quest for a deeper integration of e-content throughout their curriculum. Topics of discussion will include developing a strategy to thoughtfully integrate digital content across a program, optimized resource positioning vis-à-vis learning objectives at both the masters and doctoral levels, utilizing the resources of the publishers and distributors to make content delivery easier, faster and cheaper for the institution and the student, and blending e-content with innovative instructional approaches to create an enhanced student experience. We will address all of these points from the perspective of the University of the Rockies, and will engage in a discussion with the attendees about what has worked for us, what has not worked for us, and how we continue to move forward toward a deeper integration of e-content throughout our curriculum.
