The session will then present the extensive data that has been analyzed with regard to this curriculum. The quantitative data shows that the curriculum is correlated with increased student achievement, retention, and graduation rates. The qualitative data shows the aspects of the technology-based curriculum that students attributed to this increase in academic success. This data will be presented in a dynamic and entertaining manner, with relevant stories, analogies, and humor. Attendees will then learn how they can most effectively use technology in the classroom to increase student achievement and keep students engaged. The presentation will be conducted with Power Point; the presenter will need and provide her own laptop. Internet access will be needed for the challenges presented in the ACCESS curriculum as well as for a short video which is part of the presentation.
