Abstract: In the fall of 2013, the University of Colorado Boulder piloted four Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on the Coursera platform: two Engineering graduate courses, one English undergraduate class, and one Physics introductory lecture. Serving over 125,000 students, the MOOCs were extremely successful by a variety of measures. In this presentation, the instructors will take the audience through the four courses and outline the research data.
Bio: William Kuskin is a Professor and chair at the University of Colorado Boulder. William writes on the history of books, from medieval manuscripts, through the advent of printing, to twenty-first century comic books.
